After the successful Spanish edition of 2019, the CSIT SWG returns, this time hosted by Associazione Italiana Cultura e Sport (AICS) in partnership with Associazione di Cultura, Sport e Tempo Libero (ACSI) in the wonderful Riviera Romagnola.

From 5th to 10th September Cervia, Cesena, Cesenatico and Riccione will see over 5000 athletes from all over the world compete in 15 different sports.

POSA as a strong supporter of CSIT and, like Deltebre, will see the world’s best athletes face off in the POSA Pole Sport World Games

WHAT ARE WSG?

The WSG are a major multi-sports event held every two years, full of sports, sport for all, cultural exchange, fun and new opportunities. These Games are not multisport games for top athletes, but for all amateurs from different countries and cultures all over the world. Not only is the organisation of competitions in the foreground, but also organizing a huge festival with the spirit of the beautiful region Emilia-Romagna at the famous Adriatic Sea coast.

The objectives are the gathering of sports friends, as a worldwide family to advance making friends as well as the exchange of information, expertise and experiences within the multi-sport community of CSIT and its partners.

That’s the Spirit of CSIT! The WSG are open for all amateur sports-athletes with raising numbers of participants and we welcome member- & non-member organisations, partners, governmental bodies, trade unions and companies from all over the world. The history of the CSIT of more than 100 years proves this event has “Olympic allures”. It provides the participants with a real international sports week with additional touristic and cultural content they will never forget.
